ZIRCOTEC PERFORMANCE WHITE
Zircotec Performance White offers our customers the ultimate in thermal barrier performance. It is the result of Zircotec's ongoing investment in product development, and has evolved from Zircotec's original high performance "Thermohold GP" coating.
Independent testing has shown that this ceramic coating is capable of reducing manifold surface temperatures by up to 30%, with actual surface temperature reductions of 173oC (343oF) being recorded, resulting in much lower operating temperatures for components near the exhaust and thus lower temperatures more generally within the engine compartment. Zircotec Performance White has quickly become the mainstay of Zircotec's offering to motorsport, and is increasingly being taken up for use in a broad range of other automotive applications. Our Performance White coating is designed to operate at the most extreme of exhaust system temperatures, i.e. at temperatures up to and including the melting point of the component on which it is sprayed.
Our R&D team are happy to specify this coating for applications up to 1,400oC (2,550oF). Customers are therefore very unlikely to be able to operate this coating beyond its capabilities! In its natural form our Performance White coating is a matt white/cream colour with a slightly rough textured surface finish. The coating may discolour slightly and can become stained with use, though this does not change its thermal performance. This product is covered by Zircotec's standard 3 year Product Guarantee.

Zircotec Performance Colours
Zircotec Performance White has proved to be a huge success and is now the Zircotec flagship coating. However, many of our customers call for the very highest level of performance offered by Performance White but also require a coating with a finish that can be more easily maintained. To meet this need Zircotec has developed a range of high quality multi-coat ceramic paint finishes that are applied over the top of our standard plasma-sprayed Performance White. These ceramic paint finishes have no real impact on the high level of thermal performance already offered by our plasma-sprayed coating, though they do offer a coating that is easy to maintain and keep clean whilst improving the aesthetics for some applications (the ceramic helps protect the colour from fade).
